What are the general conditions to apply for an Educational Loan?
  • Minimum age: 18
  • Residency: Lebanon
  • University student (in universities approved by the bank)
  • Have accomplished 40% of total number of credits or a minimum of 2 years.
  • GPA of 2.8 and above
  • Unemployed
What is the guarantee required for an Educational Loan?
  • A personal guarantee from a direct relative
  • Life insurance
In which currency is the Educational Loan available?
In LBP 
What is the maximum loan I can apply for?
No limit
What is the maximum repayment period?
10 years after grace period
What is the interest rate on the Educational Loan?
Currently 3.625%
What are the documents needed to apply for an Educational Loan?

Student

  • Two valid ID’s (such as passport, syndicate card, civil register, driving license, etc…)
  • Original official transcript
  • Original university attestation
  • Original tuition fees attestation until the graduation date

 

Guarantor

  • Two valid ID’s (such as passport, syndicate card, civil register, driving license, etc…)
  • Employed:
    • Salary certificate / Payslip
  • Self-employed:
    • Bank statement for the last 6 months
    • Income statement / balance sheet for the past year
    • Copy of commercial certificate or register
    • Copy of rental contract or title deed for the premise where the business is operating
