We were the first bank to invest in a technology start-up in 2013 under BDL’s Intermediate Circular 331, in our permanent quest towards developing a more efficient economy.

We have also set historical milestones in the Lebanese banking sector:

We introduced the first revolving credit card in 1995, and changed the working hours in the Banking industry by being the first Bank to open our branches until 5 pm each day when the norm was 2 pm. We were also the first to launch Mobile Banking on the market in 2011 through the AM Bank app, which clients could download on their smart phones or tablets.
Our avant-garde and innovative approach to banking services continue to assert our leadership position.
In 2012, we launched MY Choice, the first reloadable ready-to-buy prepaid card in Lebanon. In 2014, we launched YOUTHinc., a program which aims to invest in Lebanese startups, giving the Lebanese youth access to capital to finance their businesses and the opportunity to take their companies to the next level.
