Protecting your Information
At American Bank, we are committed to maintaining the security
of your accounts and personal information. We have practices and procedures in place to
protect the data we collect from you.
Help us to protect your Information
American Bank will never send email containing attachments, or
require customers to send personal information via email or pop-up windows. Any
unsolicited requests for American Bank account information you receive through pop-up
windows, emails, or Websites should be considered fraudulent and reported immediately.
You are responsible for not sharing your ATM or Visa Debit card and/or PIN, your Online
banking User ID and password, and other confidential account information-this includes
sharing with family, friends, bookkeeper or an employee. If you would like to share
access to your accounts you can make another person an authorized signer.
DO NOT give account number or card information over the telephone or via email unless
you initiate the contact.
