AL-MAWARID Bank S.A.L. Inaugurates Its New Jounieh Branch

In a move that reflects the bank’s efforts to cater to all its clients all over Lebanon, AL-MAWARID Bank S.A.L., one of the leading banks in Lebanon announced the opening of its new branch in Jounieh’s Square, the bank’s first location in Keserwan.

H.E. Marwan Kheireddine, Minister of State and Chairman of the bank was present alongside top management executives from AL-MAWARID Bank as well as local economy leaders at the opening of the branch which signals a new milestone for the bank in 2012.

Given its considerable clientele base in the area in addition to Jounieh’s status as the central hub of Keserwan’s main trade and commercial activities, the new AL-MAWARID Bank branch will serve a significant sector of individuals and businesses while proposing an array of innovative offerings and services that suit all personal banking needs as well as financial aspirations of individual and corporate customers.

Speaking about this initiative, H.E. Marwan Kheireddine stated that the Keserwan area is a vital market to AL-MAWARID Bank, representing one of the priorities on the bank’s expansion agenda. “Strategically positioned in the heart of Jounieh, we will participate in a highly competitive market that will allow us to stand out with our unique banking products targeting a multitude of segments including the small, medium and big corporate sectors,” said Kheireddine.

AL-MAWARID’s branch in Jounieh, will substantially benefit its clients who will have easy access to specialized and quality products coupled with a dedicated customer service that AL-MAWARID is renowned for. AL-MAWARID Bank was established in 1980; historically the bank has positioned itself as a leader in the banking industry in Lebanon. AL-MAWARID Bank s.a.l. has maintained its leadership over the years, it was the first bank to introduce credit cards into the country back in 1995 and again it is the first bank to introduce mobile banking in Lebanon in 2010.
